Goals and peculiarities of this conference

The Mathematics Conference for Young Researchers (MCYR from now on) is organized by graduate students in Department of mathematics, Hokkaido University. Our goal is to expand the social network as well as discover new researches and results within several fields involving mathematics.

MCYR is the intersection of vast fields involving mathematics such as physics, chemistry, economics, engineering, medicine and so on. The presentations are divided in the following 3 types:

  1. Single session, introductory talk for people outside of one's area of expertise (50' talk + 10' Q&A)
  2. Parallel session, talk promoting the growth of the investigation for people of the same specialty (25' talk + 5' Q&A)
  3. Poster session

Target of speakers and audiences

We MCYR are recruiting speakers by master's and doctral course students. Applications other than graduate students such as postdoctoral reseachers are also welcome. However, if there are a large number of applications, priority will be given to graduate students. Regarding undergraduate students who wish to give a talk, we will respond to consultation individually, so please feel free to contact us at the following e-mail address. For more information on accepting of applications, etc., please see To speakers and audiences.

Regarding audiences, everyone regardless of grade or position including undergraduate students is welcome. However, for the convenience of the budget, we do not subsidize the travel expenses to the audience, so please be forewarned.

We hope that MCYR will help your research activities and eventually promote the development of learning and research in the future. We are waiting for your participation from the mind.
