Network's operation can be changed through neuromodulation that involves alteration of cellular and synaptic properties requesting time dependent mechanisms. Our data demonstrate a new form of network activity reconfiguration. We show that through multistability different stable rhythmic patterns, in response to different transientstimuli, can arise instantaneously without changing network parameters.
