We consider a constrained gradient flow system of total variation.Our system is often used in color image processing to remove a noisefrom the chromaticity of initial image. Since the range of solutionsto our model is constrained in some fixed compact manifold, it isdifficult to analyze our system. So we consider a discretized problem.By using the subdifferential and abstract convergence theory of convexfunctions, we shall prove the global existence of solutions to oursystem with piecewise constant initial and boundary data.
