In free probability, the probability distribution of the sum or product of free independent random variables (called free convolution) is a central subject. Convolution for product is much more difficult to analyze; in particular the basic problem of weak continuity of free convolution is still open. Pick functions in complex analysis are important in this problem. I will explain this problem in the talk.
