アブストラクト
Neuronal networks, e.g. the cortical column, are composed of thousands of 

connected units with heteregeneous properties and their dynamics are regulated
by the excitatory and inhibitory conductances through the network. The lateral
connections among neurons resulting from genetic constraints and plasticity
generate spatiotemporal. The coarse dynamics of a cortical column are captured
by mean field model, also predict patterns occuring in a map of columns with
short-term excitation and long term excitation.

We will present a column model and dynamics in topographic networks composed
of cortical columns with lateral connections. Spatiotemporal patterns arising
in the network reflect the geometry of the input space.
