A blowup criterion of the 3D-Navier-Stokes and Euler
equations are constructed. The criterion is focused on
(time dependent) symmetric vector fields near maximum
points. If the (time dependent) vector fields near maximum
points are symmetric on frontside-backside (we
define it rigorously in the talk), then the flow never
blowup. The criterion is not included in the Beale-Kato-
Majda criterion. We also give a numerical analysis result
related to the criterion (joint work with Professor Notsu).
