PDE seminar: Jeffery-Hamel’s flow in the plane

Jeffery-Hamel's flow is an exact solution of the
Navier-Stokes equations in a domain between two
inclined lines. L. Rosenhead treated such a problem.
The solutions are given in the Jacobian elliptic functions
and the behavior of the solutions is investigated.
In this talk, it is shown that in the domain there exists
a solution of the Navier-Stokes equations applying the
relation between the flux constant and the amplitude
of the two lines.
