21st Century COE Program : Mathematics of Nonlinear Structure via Singularity

Our program seeks to build stronger connections with other institutions in and outside of Japan, educate young researchers, and improve our literature and intellectual property services. To achieve this goal, we will establish the following three functions for flexible, dynamic and cross-disciplinary research.
- Mathematical Center for Advanced Study
- Center for Research Interactions in Mathematics
- Center for Mathematical Information and Literature
Through raising the overall level of mathematical research, this structure will help us develop an international research and educational center that creates global-minded researchers with a broad outlook in this cool climate of Hokkaido, an ideal site for deep thinking.
